June is here! End-of-the-year events are in full swing as our school communities finish the school year strong. End-of-the-year diagnostics and testing are finishing up, be sure to check in with your student and their teacher to discuss the wonderful growth they made this year!

Let us extend a special acknowledgment to Lippitt for achieving the highest growth in iReady diagnostic scores for Math and Reading in the entire district! Congratulations to Norwood and Scott schools as well, for also achieving some of the highest rates of growth in Math and Reading throughout the district!

To ensure we don’t lose the valuable growth our students have made this year, we want to reiterate how important summer learning is. Please register your child, and yourself, for the Warwick Public Library’s Summer Learning Challenge. Students are also expected to work on their iReady My Path and complete a few lessons in both Math and Reading weekly throughout the summer. Spending 15 minutes a day on their My Path is a great way to take a break from the sun and heat if your family lives on the beach all summer long like ours. wpl reading flyer
